Syanne Day
Professional Ballerina, Fitness Instructor, Ballet & Contemporary teacher
My professional training began when I was 13 at Elmhurst Ballet School in Birmingham. At 16 I moved to London to attend English National Ballet School, where I graduated from in 2015 with a Diploma in Professional Dance.

I have performed with professional ballet and contemporary companies including; English National Ballet (Swan Lake UK tour & Swan Lake in-the-round at the Royal Albert Hall), Mercurial Dance, Cork City Ballet and Let's All Dance Ballet Company.

Ballet is a very strict and defined form of art, which requires a person to be very self-motivated, analytical, versatile and constantly striving for perfection. Above all it requires passion and the willingness to work hard at perfecting even the smallest detail, all of which I was lucky to learn during my training years at two of the UK's top prestigious ballet schools.

In 2019 I graduated from Middlesex University with a BA degree in Professional Practice, in which I based my inquiry on teaching methods and theories within the ballet industry. I teach at various local dance and performing arts schools and I also run adult classes virtually online and at gyms. (Please see Classes page for more information!) In 2020 I qualified as a certified level 2 & 3 Personal Trainer and I now also run 1:1 & group PT sessions, both online and in-person.
"You've given me my motivation again! I found it hard to do workouts when I went back to work after lockdown but the timings of your evening workouts really work for me. I can't wait for the next week of classes!"
— Becky
I'm really enjoying all Syanne’s classes. Syanne is a great instructor and I don't think I've ever been so toned in my life! It's been a perfect way to stay active during lockdown.
